The FREE and INDEPENDENT TRIBES and CHURCH of the MAOY, a Nonprofit Tribe. To bring together ALL Gays of all ages, to live, play, and work together, without any Government, city, state, or federal telling us who we will live with, how we will live, or where we will live; We MUST have a say in our lives! The Goal of the Tribe is to find a place, outside the US, where we can live and form our own laws, and villages, and country, without any outside interference in our lives. To be able to stand up and say, "I'm a Maoy Tribesman and I'm Gay and Proud of it! I am FREE!

Gay Hate Crime Murder Of Puerto Rican
Teen Sees Police Announce He Deserved It
The body of gay teenager, Jorge Steven Lopez Mercado
was discovered on the edge of a road in Cayey, Puerto Rico last Thursday,
(Aug. 4th 2011) with the police investigator suggesting that the 19 year old deserved it
“because people who lead this type of lifestyle need to be aware that this will happen”.

Dreaming of working in the fashion and beauty sector, Jorge
was planning to start college to train for his dream job in January,
but was found this last week burnt, decapitated and dismembered only a few
miles from Caguas, the town in which he was living.
A much loved member of the gay community in the area,
Mercado’s death has obviously been met with great sadness
by the community, something which is tinged
with further disappointment because of the fact that it is
highly unlikely his death will be treated as a
homophobic attack seeing as Puerto Rico has never
in it’s history classified a murder as any form of hate crime.
Luis Rivera, one of Jorge’s best friends said that they
first began to worry about Jorge when he didn’t turn up
to the Krash de Santurce club as he and his friends have
planned and they couldn’t get hold of him on his cell phone,
with the sad realization of what had happened
occurring when he read about the discovery
of a body with features matching Jorge in the paper.
Pedro Julio Serrano, a leading human rights
activist has spoken of his sadness at the death
of Jorge, with his family not yet feeling ready to speak out.
The Tribe added this to show that not just in the US,
Gay hate is everywhere except in the Tribe.
1000+ anti-gay hate crimes in 2008
There is no doubt about it, reports of violent
crimes against gays is on the rise:
"FBI statistics show there were 1,265 hate crimes based
on sexual orientation in 2007, up from 1,017 two years earlier and 1,239 in 2003.
That compares to 3,820 racially motivated incidents in 2007 and 1,400
in which the victim's religion was a factor.
Because not all states allow attacks motivated by anti-gay
bias to be charged as hate crimes and because some victims are reluctant to
reveal their sexual orientations to police, gay and transgender
rights advocates suspect the numbers to be much higher.
The vast majority of brutality against gays is carried out by young men,
usually acting in groups, said Riki Wilchins, executive director of
Gender Public Advocacy Coalition, a Washington nonprofit that works
in schools to address discrimination.
Their victims most often are other young men with feminine
demeanors or transgender women, said Wilchins.
"These assailants are looking to eradicate and exterminate something
that enrages them, and that is what makes them hate crimes," he said."

MOSCOW (Reuters) - An online campaign has been launched in Russia urging young women
to support Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in a presidential vote by taking off their clothes,
a lawmaker's site showed on Sunday.
Called "Putin's Army," it features a video of a blonde student called
Diana who struts along Moscow's streets in high heels and a black suit before scrawling
"I will tear my clothes off for Putin" on a white top in red lipstick and starting to undo her clothes.
Inviting girls to strip off for Putin for the chance of winning an iPad2, the campaign comes
ahead of the March 2012 presidential vote. Putin was president between
2000-2008 before handing the reins to his protégé Dmitry Medvedev.
Widely seen as Russia's key decision-maker, Putin may return to the Kremlin next year.
"The goal: For Putin to be president!" said a statement on its page on social networking
site vkontakte.ru/armiaputina, Russia's answer to Facebook.
During Russia's Soviet era, nudity in advertising was taboo but has since
become widespread, a fact which has outraged Russian feminists
who say it only intensifies an already sexualized culture where prostitution is common.
It is unclear who orchestrated the campaign which was posted on the blog
of parliamentarian Kirill Shchitov, from Putin's ruling United Russia party.
In October, a band of journalism students posed in lingerie for a calendar for Putin's 58th birthday.
This would help our President as well!
